Debbie and Mike were ready for a different kind of trip. Previous group tours had felt hurried, with too little time in the places they wanted to explore. Scotland called for more freedom.
Room to follow their curiosity
Old buildings, characterful pubs, nature and Highland cows all featured in the brief. We planned a fortnight with time in Edinburgh before heading north and west. A private driver-guide meant they could enjoy the scenery and make the most of local knowledge without managing unfamiliar roads.
From Edinburgh to the islands
The itinerary linked Edinburgh with Perthshire, Loch Tay, Glencoe and Fort William, then continued through Glenfinnan to Skye. Loch Ness, the Cairngorms and Royal Deeside shaped the return. Walking choices and scenic stops offered different ways to enjoy the same places together.
The people behind the journey
