Hendersons in the Highlands

A 10‑Day Clan Gathering Across Edinburgh, Glencoe and the North

Let's design your perfect Scottish experience

Your Scottish Experience

Over ten days, the Henderson Clan Society traces a thoughtful arc through Scotland’s story – from the closes and wynds of Edinburgh’s Old Town to the brooding glens of Glencoe and the sea‑washed harbours of Oban, before turning north for Inverness, Culloden and the far‑flung shores of Caithness. This is a journey designed for shared memory: comfortable coach travel, characterful 3–4 star hotels, and a rhythm that balances structured clan‑focused moments with time to wander, talk and simply be in the landscape together.

Anchored by key Henderson touchstones – Glencoe, a formal visit to Old Pulteney Distillery, and a reflective afternoon at Culloden – the route also leaves space for individuals to choose their own depth: optional distillery tours, gentle walks, harbour strolls or simply a quiet dram at the bar. It all culminates back in Edinburgh with a private ceilidh, an evening of music, dancing and stories that gathers everything the group has seen and felt into one final, joyful celebration before departure.

Authentically Delivered

What makes each journey unforgettable is the way it’s brought to life. Our guides are not just experts, but true custodians of Scotland’s culture, stories, and hidden traditions. They reveal the country not as a performance, but as a living, breathing homeland.

From private conversations with whisky masters to quiet moments in secret glens, everything is shared with honesty and warmth. This is Scotland shown the way it deserves to be; authentic, personal, and unlike anything you’d find in a guidebook.

Our Scottish Founders

Bound by heritage and driven by a shared vision, Flynn, Harvey, and Simon founded The Scottish Luxury Experience to reveal Scotland at its most extraordinary. Each brings their own expertise, from storytelling and heritage to golf and whisky, but together they share one mission: to craft journeys that feel both timeless and personal.
